I'm in STATES baby !! haha :)
Okie, not that smooth actually !
So here's the complete story:
Berangkatlah daku di hari jumat pagi, Oct 30 jam 9.45 singapore local time with SQ12.
I sit at the last row, the 4 person middle seat. As I prayed that the one sitting nex to me is not someone unbearable, I got 1 "typical singapore businessman" look alike, and a couple whom I suspect are Indonesian. My guess are correct.
I don mind the couple, but Mr Businessman is not really that of a nice experience. Well, he's okay to me, but having work in a Bank for 6 years, businessman are the one that I want to avoid the most. But here he is, sitting next to me, complaining how bad it is that he got the last row, the noise we experienced for sitting so near to toilet and bla bla bla.
He kept saying : it's terrible, this is terrible. My goodness, SQ, terrible ? Try Jetstar Uncle !!
The food was AMAZING. The stewardess: so friendly, and pretty (lots of them are Japanese as we stopped by Narita). Well anyway, I pray not to sit next to businessman again :P
In the plane, as always, I did sth ridiculous, haha :P Accidentally press the emergency call button when I was in the toilet, and the stewardess was bamming the door like mad. Sorry, wrong call:P hehe * so pai seh*
cut the story short, after what seem to be never ending flight *During turbulence, it cross my mind, what if I am to meet God now ? Well, what can I do? I'm ready*, I reached : LAX.
I forgot to fill up the custom & immigration card, so when I landed I straight away look for the counter to fill it up. That's when I realize : I do not have my aunt's address :P oh no ! & without that I can't even queue in the line. I need to have that address.
Oh no! okay, i wasn't panicked, but starhub *the lousiest in singapore in terms of signal, not very much diff in states* phone doesn't show any signal. I cant sms my aunt. Tried to use the phone, asking for collect call, my aunt & uncle seems to either miss the call or do not want to receive them. I was, looking desperate & devastated, I guess :P
As the phone booth was at the end part of the building, some officers (uncles) seemed to have notice my struggle and ask me, what seems to be my problem.
I explained to them, and they are willing to help me *OH MY GOD HORAY !!* They called my aunt, en prior to that they were joking, what do you think her aunt respond would be : "Hi Ma'am, I'm calling from LAX Immigration, your niece is in custom right now, she couldn't get out! She's in trouble !ow-oh ! !?!?! " and they all laughed.
I laughed too. I find it funny, and I do wonder wad's my aunt reaction will be :P ahha :) But the best part, among the uncles, there's one very good looking officer who seem to be Asian American. He's younger than the rest off course. Lumayan : cuci mata di tengah keputus - asaan ! Off course I didn't take his pict, are u mad ?haha :P *remember, I was desperate ?!?! almost panicked for a while, kept thinking on how I can get internet connection so that I can check the address*
en so, I managed to get my aunt, got the address * I remember correctly : Fratus Drive, what unit number, which area, I have no idea*
and then....the best part. Once I got them I thot I need to queue the line that shaped like a snake like! So long! I was afraid my luggage has been dumped somewhere :P
But, the good looking officer said, come: let me help you. He went to his counter, ask me to go there, check my card & passport and VOILA! I'm ready to go. Welcome to states, all the uncle & the officer said ! THANK YOU ! *uwah... masih tersepona: cakep officernya hohooo*
So I came out, wait for my uncle to pick me up, and now I'm at his home, waiting for dinner with my aunt. Time now is 3.20 PM Friday Oct 30, singapore will be 6.20 AM Saturday Oct 31. Happy halloween (lots of the officer said that during landing) happy birthday Kiyoko & Marina.
Weather is SUNNY, but cold enough ( I'm not hot tempered body person) for me to add layers inside :)
Going to SF tmrw 7 AM in the morning ! Wish me luck, free of jet lag, and meet many more good looking ppl around !! hohoho :)
No photos for now. Houses in LA are short & flat, I can see a clear blue sky here :) My uncles home are really like american home (he rented a room). I love the home :)

lalalalal :) -26 hours to USA
Hhoaaeeaaaaaaaaahoooooeeeeeoouuueeeiiiiahhhhhhhhheeeeeeuuuuu :P
*read: screaming loudly happily excitingly*
in less than 7 hours, my butt will be seating at SQ12 flying to Narita !!
get set, all packed, let's fly :)
excited ? u bet :)
scarred ? erm...actually with all the warning my frens, aunties & fellow kind ppl gave me, I'm quite alarmed on the possibility of aloooottt of things that might happen :P
so... yah : anyone reading this, pls pray that I'll come back sound & save, in full two piece (count my luggage as very important part of me), lack nothing * and gain nothing additional on my body pleaseee pleaseeeee peh-leeaassseee*
as said: it has been an AMAZING YEAR :) I never thot, dream, and foresee that such a great year will come along in my 28th year :)
One fine night before musicals, I accidentally open the resolution paper written last year in one of our FA session. I slipped this paper inside another resolution card that's made for YRC Sunday new year services.
The paper that I wrote in FA reads this :
Passion for life
and all it's circumstances, the ups, the down,
A reason to live, a mission to walk, purpose to fill and dreams coming true
A growth that's not stagnant
Reading that paper just way before musical : I never knew when I wrote those words, that every single line is going to be fulfilled in a project called : Nasi Boengkoes.
I didn't even know why I wrote those words then, when I just finish writing them. Almost throw this small piece of paper many time :P Funny how it was written, opened, and re-read on the right time again. Just when I'm in my highest moment of preparing for Naboeng :)
It shows God never forget, and He knows what He's doing in our life, even when we don't. It reminds me on Pst Kong's word: Wibi's MSN Nick : When we can't see God's hand, we better trust His heart :)
And now that I opened the resolution paper of 2009: only 2 lines stated, very big & clear :
1> Save the money
2> Shed the KG
& u noe wad ? Fulfilled again !!!! hauheauehauheuhau :)

So now before I leave for 3 weeks of experiencing a new land called USA; I thank God for such a great year, and every single person who has coloured them as beautiful as Rainbow after storm :)

Amazing that we've known each other since 07, but only manage to know each other better in mid 2008, and best : this year.
Got to thank Ricky who's so persistent in introducing me to this girl, who everyone says : really look like me. Ricky bilang, bukan cuman muka, even personality wise.
But having someone said that you really look like this person, when u see that person finally : pasti deh, first reaction: mirip dari Hongkong ? *emang Ricky sekolah Hongkong*. At first I felt, there isn't any major resemblance other than kita putih, size agak di atas rata2 wanita Asia pd umumnya. sama2 orang Indo, and that's it.
Belon lg: she's attached, I'm not! Nah loh mirip mananya coba ? Palagi personality ? *I don't know her in the first place* Even more shocking when I find out: wah dia dancers jg ? What does she feel yah ? Does she feel inferior like me ? we being quite big ? *thank God she did not feel inferior and continue dancing *
But coming to this year, let's just say: I have to agree with Ricky, that even personality wise: we really are, alike! Face wise: don need to proof that: pictures don lie. Photoshop does. hehe :P
We loveeeeee dance (off course no doubt she MUCH better dancers than I am), we do many wedding plannings, we work great as wedding planner partners in Singapore, I know my area, she know hers, combined : we pain Stars in the sky *cah... puitiss....jijay*
and apparrently: she knows my sis ( we come from same high school), my sis' boyfriend, my neighbour, and she lives around my area: TAMAN RATU !! haha:p ....coincidence ? perhaps
whatever u name it, fate, takdir, nasib, yuan fen, jalan hidup, I see 75% of me in her, and I'm glad to say that I'm happy to see myself :P HAHA :p *ngaco yah analoginya*
kayak felem2, dimana 2 orang ketemu setelah gede, and see him/ herself in another person, yg sampe tampang aja mirip. I find our story, beneran kayak pelem2.
In conclusion: I don't want to miss any chance working together with El, creating magic. If u're reading this El * jangan nangis ho.... ahoehaohoah* thank you for never giving up on my dance, and never giving up on my negative attitude that always says: ga bisa. Thank you for making dancing seems so effortless and ...it actually is : do-able, as long as one have a passionate & patient teacher like u :) Thank you, for being a SUPER GREAT Partner in Naboeng :) *uwah...berkaca kaca*
This, is one friendship and teamwork, that I surely treasure with HEART & SOUL :)

We have been: a FAMILY long long time ago :) Garink family :) Serangoon family :) Blessed Family :) NUS family :) ELG family :) adoh...banyak yah ?
But I've never been so close to her as much as I have this year. I have no regrets moving here to Serangoon, and....those few dayz where she just moved to Buangkok are my MOST MISSERABLE DAYS this year, if not coz of musicals, it would have been dreadful !!!
Sedih rasanya, missing her footsteps in my room, her knock on the door, and her exciting jump to my quilt :) our gossiping session, you tubing session, checking internet session :) Going church in the morning felt so good to have a company :) and need I say ? walking home together are as warm as sun rays in midnite *napa gua jadi puitis gini*
Now that I'm quite adjusted with her move to Buangkok, I'm always reminded that I have a friend who I can ask for dinner when I feel like having one :) Andai Fenny masih ada di SG, it would be great too:) hoah : I miss garink family (padahal br dinner senin kemaren)
Well the pt is : my friendship with Dian has been proven through time record: 9 years & counting and I'm glad that it gets stronger, instead of weaker :) senangggggggggggg nya :)
3> a very prominent figure, who irritates me ALOT, but what I have for him is this word:
r.e.s.p.e.c.t : respect
Respect for a fine young man with big dreams (mostly unrational), yet really doing unrational things to make this unrational dream come true.
David Suwarto. A man who has been sending me home with his BMW, who's always lost when finding his car, who always force my ears to hear "gross" things that got me goosebumps everytime he's on the phone with Vina..

huaa..sweet naboeng moments again
Dancerz are having Post Na-boeng outing to Vivo followed by Sentosa trip today.
Jen Ruslam, Fenny, Michael, Astrid, cant come.
Had LOTS of fun. Lots of laughter & re-sharing of Naboeng funny moment plus making some new memories :) Lunch @ vivo Marche & dinner Food Rep. Went to Sentosa in between.
At the end of the day, I receive MULTITUDES of SMSes from the dancerz. Here they are:

end of Na-boeng chapter
Jujur... ga segampang itu berlalu dari kehidupan Nasi Boengkoes :) hehehe :)
and while the Hype, the memory, and everything that's sweet & funny is still hot in my mind.....I felt like keeping it in this wonderful virtual storage....as if it's my diary (overdued diary) on the Naboeng experience on my side :)
Seharusnya udah dari kapan2 ditulis yah ? Cuman ya pas lg musical mana mikir kl ini bakal memorable gini ...en pd dasarnya wkt itu seh emang ga ada tenaga buat ngeblog lah yah... org ini aja rumah menanti dibongkar pasang biar hidup bisa berjalan sperti semula lagi ....
but anyway here are some of my memorable memory diaries of Naboeng: I bet u can see, it's a long posting, so get yourself Pop Corn & Coke if you cant stand it.
Awal taon sampe bulan Maret:
Pd dasarnya kita cuman meeting sekali di Hyatt pas kebaktian 1. I remembered ada Dian, Willy, Ceka, Cipto dan sekian sudah (yg gua inget). Seharusnya kl ga salah mereka udah meeting duluan di akhir taon lalu tapi daku sibux ...but anyway... I'm now officially involved in this Muse Muse... tadinya cuman mo oversee overlook :P hehehehe :P
Producer udah ada : lgsg point org yg paling jago cari duit & organized : DASU !! haha :) oh..tambah lg kita mikirnya : Dasu ada BOIL !! (boil ---> dibaca ---> mobil) .. haha :) jd borong barang gampang :) Dasu ternyata ... stuju !! hore :)
Terus sambil tunggu script dr jagoan kita dr taon kuda sampa taon jepang : Om Hikikomori yg udah hijrah ke Jepang Argentina dan seluruh dunia... kita cari2 Assistant Director..
Di saat spt ini terlintaslah segerombolan manusia2 SMU yg selama ini stengah aktif stengah tidak di gereja karena kesibukan mereka di sekolah : which is.. doing MUSICAL !! Nah...jelas salah kl kita ga undang mereka ikutan berkreasi dong ? Tambah lagi.. ternyata Om Dedi dan Mbak Astrid yg konon udah bertaon taon taon taon taon ...taon...... ikutan SMUKI production ini ...adalah Director dari SMUKI production taon ini... wow !! ... jelas kita undang mereka ikutan..
Mana kita udah nonton musical mereka : in a heartbeat...and kereeeeennnnnn dah itu :) wuih..kl bisa dapet bantuan Astrid & Dedi ... puji Tuhan banget dah
If you ask me, awalnya mah gua ga yakin mereka bilang mau..coz mereka sibux sekali gitu kan orang2nya ...beneran GAA nyangka dah waktu mrk bilang IYAH !!! HUHUHU.... terharu !!
Okie dah.. most likely orang2 nya udah set.. kita move on. Nunggu script yg waktu itu bagaikan nunggu hujan di musim kemarau..karena kita tau jagoan kita Felix jg kerjanya bukan gitaran doang....en then miracles come : Hujan naskah datang :)
With raw scripts on hands, we start audition process. Sbln audition cast dimulai, some ppl udah approach me personally to ask boleh ga mereka join dance karena toh mereka mikir cast & musiciannya ga banyak jg diperluin pasti : orang2 ini adalah Rani dan Ricci !! hahaha :) off course dgn tangan lebar kuterima mereka :)
En then, the first Saturday when audition start, we got dance & cast audition. Nah Willy seh super prepared yah. Yg audition cukup memadai... slotnya manteb, siap deh. We straight away got some good acting & some option to choose for the cast. Nah dancers :P kok ga ada... mana Alex yg tinggal di Tanah merah yg gua minta dateng jauh2 buat bantu dance audition, eh malah bantuin jadi lawan main cast acting all the way...and we found out that dia benernya bisa acting apa aja... tapi dia ga mo jadi cast....
Haih..ckup sedih seh awalnya...harusnya auditionnya siang2 :p...tapi ga ada yg bisa dateng... yg bilang tertarik dateng jg ga nongol...so gone is the first Saturday for dancer casting.. mana gua sebelonnya jg belon format lagi auditionnya bakalan kayak gimana :P...
well... tapi malam setelah YRC, gua audition 3 orang : Ricci, Lily & Michelle. Semua pass. Then weeks gone by.. minggu2 selanjutnya I saw some increase of the dancers.So happy to see some unthinkable name to join... Like Shandy, Agia ... so surprised :)
Ada beberapa hal yg lucu waktu cast audition :
Chika ceritanya jadi character Manda: harus stop-in Alex bunuh diri. Alex being Alex, goodness...bisa aja dia drama rama mama...si Chika keliatan agak putus asa dari yg tadinya Character Manda yg baek gitu...eh malah jadi terakhir lumayan nyerah en mo nyuruh Alex loncat aja... HAHHA :p
Then Jenita audition jadi Cintha...& Guess who's the GALfriend: ALEX !! hahaha:) super power dah berdua.....emang dasar dia orang dua kan emang malunya udah putus dari kapan2 :P Si Jenita waktu ngagumin diri dari bangun tidur... gubrak :P mo puke waktu denger...Narsis abis ini Cintha :P ... hahahah ... salut :) Alex seh... Cheerleader sejati !!
En then, Raymond audisi jadi character Pujiono: disuruh jadi salesman, jual bola basket ke Alex. Manteb dah rayuannya... bilang bakalan jadi ganteng lah, kasih diskon lah, bisa tambah tinggi lah which Alex jadi tersungging dikit dan langsung di counter balik ama Raymond... yg terakhir yg bikin Alex beli....Raymond bilang... kl jadi keren Mas, pasti banyak cewek yg liat..dijamin byk yg naksir mas.....langsung dibayar KONTAN !! WHAHAHHAHA :p
Then pas Raymond jadi character Nando & Alex jadi gangster sekolahan, yg terjadi malah Alex pas ceritanya mo berantem, eh ...KABUR !..takut beneran dia... HAHAH :P
Terus di minggu sesudahnya yg lucu, waktu Andreas audisi: jadi Robert. Dia harus caci maki character Nando yg diperanin sama Dedi. Andreas langsung bilang : Cacing loe... en lanjut dah si Nchep dgn sgl caci maki dia.. lumayan sinis bin kejam yg akhirnya... Dedi lost his word... ga bisa acting lagi... lagi nahan kemarahan katanya :P ahhahhahhah :D marahin sih Cacing :P
Then ...dateng Cinta Laura !! huhuhu :) knowing that dia cheerleader di sekolah...gua minta dia buat lead Astrid, Dedi, Alex jadi cheerleader... spontan... HAHAHAHHAA :) Dedi lost his words... hahahah :P keren jg seh hasilnya....kebukti banget kl Cynthia emang dateng buat jadi Cinta :) kita ga coba dia jadi peran yg lain :) dan dari dia cheering... mantab dah !!
Terus audisi Manda & Ika buat jadi guru yg sok galak tapi centil benernya... :) Manda cukup versatile, jadi orang baek bisa, jahat mah emang jagonya dia... (provocator).... en jadi guru iseng pun manteb :) Tapi emang Ika mah ga terkalahkan di bidang ini :P kl ga salah dia orang dikasih hukuman pegang kuping sambil angkat satu kaki ... hahahah :)
Yg lucunya yah : waktu tiap2 cast dateng buat casting, some of them, when they have not even said a word to be acted out: gua & astrid udah :
Ika masuk: Ibu Guru neh ...
Becky masuk : Pasti nyokap !! Naluri nyokapnya kenceng pula
Christine (msh di luar ruangan), I ran in to Astrid, Dedi, Willy, Dachan : We found our Cinta !! Ketemu !!!
Hendro: yah dicoba aja deh dia bisa jadi apa selain Hendro sendiri.... Ternyata emang ga bisa org lain yg jadi Hendro :P
Raimond: very versatile : cuman Raimond bilang dia bosen jd orang jahat :) HAHHAHAH :p gara gara TLG Movie dhe kayaknya yah .... ya udah kasih orang baek deh...Nando
Manda : very versatile jg... tp mending jd Nanda deh...coz emang Felix udah had in mind to give this role for her...
So kita udah fix orang2nya deh. Next email and start practise. Meeting akbar Sabtu pagi :) Latian vocal & baca naskah, while dancer semua cuman belajar basic dance dulu yg nantinya jg ga ditari-in coz wkt itu lagu2 narinya belon jadi.. tapi at least semua belajar melemaskan otot dulu :) ahhhah :) okie for a starts...
So months went by, with practises2 & meeting upon meeting from all Directors, Directors with costume, Directors with Props, all comm buat cari duit..ticketing dan segalanya. Awalnya jg cari tempat, ternyata tempat cepet jg dapetnya en fix tanggalnya :)
Yg lucu dari meeting2 Director, is the nite when the name Nasi Boengkoes tercetus. Malem itu we go in details on lagu2 & dance requirement, plus perluasan cerita. Di Starbucks Pla-Sing that nite, the Davids (Chan & Suwarto) came late.
Pas Dasu dtg, kita lg decide enaknya istirahat dimana. En then entah kenapa edan semua malem itu, tiba2 tercetus: gimana kl kita potong waktu Cynthia ketemu Manda (waktu itu masih Manda namanya) di depan Mall. Terus mukanya Manda & Cynthia disorot close up, jreng2 Manda, jreng2 Cynthia, jreng2 Manda... terus ganti2 terus muka mereka berdua makin lama makin cepet ....ala sinetron Indo yg ga jelas....terus hang there.... then...CURTAIN CLOSE :p ....tadaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :P
Off course gua sangat shock dgn ide2 yg terlalu gila itu, belon lagi datenglah Suwarto dgn comment: tiba2 dari atas Robocop jumped down with MACHINE GUN !!!! uh huh ??????? Belon lagi ide dia yg waktu tanding basket biar seru ada 2 kubu...dan segala macem lainnya deh ....
yah ... msh byk hal yg Suwarto lakukan malem itu yg bikin gua slalu bilang Shuddup Vid sblm dia keluar dgn ide yg bikin hati makin panas & mo marah malem itu !! dan itu berlanjut sampe kita pulang bareng di mobil Suwarto....
Jg ada ide2 cerita tambahan yg akhirnya ga jadi dimasukin ke dalem ceritanya. Contoh: tadinya ceritanya Ibu guru BP nya mo dibikin nge fans & jatuh hati sama Pak Pujiono di akhir cerita.... ahhaahah :) ... terus jg Robert & Cynthia mo dipermalukan. Jadi udah tutup curtain udah selesai semua...Robert & Cynthia nongol di dpn panggung...smbl jalanin hukuman mereka gara gara kalah sama si Nando & Nanda...tadinya mo permaluin Ncep.... tapi kita ga tega akhirnya :P hahahhha :)
We were deciding on the musical title: apa yah enaknya ?? Suwarto dgn muka pengharapan dia berkata : Jalan makin membara, Matahari di ujung dunia, Harapan tiada dua, Cinta suci tulus & murni, Masih ada kesempatan... dan sgala title yg skali lg bikin gua yg duduk di dpn...ask him to keep quiet everytime dia mo ngomong. Dia terus KEKEH sama ide : Jalan makin membara..... Dede Yusuf kali yg main... ini jagoannya Nando...bukan si Dede ..Vid... :P
Willy dan yg lain2 pun udah stengah ignore dia... ahhahah :P maap Vid...
En from the right end corner, tiba2 Dachan ngomong: Nasi Boengkoes....then ketawa sendiri.
Kayak tersentak semua diem 2 detik, then suddenly I seconded : Nasi Boengkoes !!!! Yesh... Nasi Boengkoes !!
Willy: erm.. hm... woo....sound good.. Hm.. okay ... boleh kayaknya ... let's keep this option.
Ceka: ... okie kok... okie :)... hahaha.. Nasi Boengkoes..terus tiketnya dari daon pisang :)... atau kita kasih Nasi bungkus..terus kain bungkusnya itu tiketnya :)
Dasu : JALAN MAKIN MEMBARA !!!!

Meeting2 lainnya masih banyak..yg ga mungkin dijelasin disini jg...karena yg lain2nya itu udah super technical, bargain antar director mengenai dateline dan kreasi yg hrs dikerjain...(hahaha tepatnya gua yg bargain terus sama Willy supaya narinya dikit aja.......mana nyangka in the end gua jg yg suggest...gimana kl kita nari Lyrical jg Will...lagu ini bagus pake nari Will...---> well.. my fault)
Jg meeting dari costume, yg si Robert & the gank udah di modelin dgn banyak model yg udah ada di kepala waktu itu. Dari yg Abenk, sampe yg sophisticated, sampe akhirnya jd yg terjadi hari itu loh :) Cynthia lebih2 lagi :) hahahah :) udah mo diwarna warni-in abies :)
Meeting with Props allowed me to find out kl NAFA punya rotating stage yg bisa Puter & Naek turun...WEDDDEEEEHHHHH...langsung gua book itu panggung buat naik2 turun pas Girls dance.
Ide awal pun benernya, upacara benderanya cuman mo pake setengah panggung depan aja, terus pas mereka jalan2 keliling sekolah...panggunya MUTER :) di baliknya udah jadi ruang BP :P...wedeeeehhhhhh keren :P... tapi sayang kl gitu jadi sempit so ga memungkinkan :) Bahkan ampir aja Girls dance kita ga muter ... setelah dibargain naik turun yg tidak jadi, karena lebih risky, takut belon sempet naik...so muter jg ga bisa karena bayar lagi...sampe akhirnya ...BISA :p Seriously...kl tuh panggung ga muter yah.... tetep keren seh dancenya .. hahaha ;) cuman ga sekeren kl muter... seneng banget gua wkt dgr kl kita bakal make dia buat muter....SOOOO AMAZED ide awal tercapai..
One meeting @ OHGS itu yg menurut gua plg ... guna/ ga juga... don really noe...tapi lucu for the fact that kita decide bersama si kata2 Nasi boengkoes ini enaknya gimana ngadepnya ? Plus ayam nya bisa diganti apa ? Chicken wing yg lebih enak ? or gimana ? Terus si I nya pake Ikan goreng full/ goreng setengah...
Belon lagi...Shandy being Business Student, polling logo aja.. pake online survey... yg notabene di mata gua ... mirip semua... secara warnanya mirip.... >>>tapi keren banget ga seh pake acara internet survey segala.. hahhaha
And now : Practise time. Waduh, this is the one most gruelling. Kalau pada mo tau dance2 yg ada itu lahir dari mana aja...nah ini dia birthplacenya the dances :
1> Opening dance: yg muter2 itu lahir di OHGS. Inspired by lingkaran di wedding Jojo. Tadinya mo bikin 2 baris lurus..tapi daku gagal :P... en bagusan lingkara. The best part that I was amazed : waktu latian buat Jojo, entah napa kok susah banget to get it done right... pas jadi di weddingnya....wah... terharu !!! Nah waktu latian di OHGS, just once, and itu pertama kalinya daku mulai marah2 sama anak2 dancer .. ahhahah.... soalnya pd kurang serius....tapi mereka just need to practise that day...en JADI !!! oh my oh my... this is my first leap of Joy !!!
2> Dangdut dance: lahir di kamar mandi Rumah gua....sambil mandi otak mikir teruuuuuussssss... ini dangdutnya mo gimana coba yah ? Terlintas Poco2...plus gaya gilanya Alex...dan terjadilah dangdut gilee kita :P... Surprised jg dalam 10 menit di kamar mandi....jadi :P
3> Sweet escape : ini seh ... penuh darah & keringat ... first part lahir di lift lobby OHGS :P Second part yg dimodif berapa kali, lahir di Living room Serangoon, Living Room Bishan, en Gym room Cairhill Road :)...Feedback is fully conceived @ Gym The Edge.. dan sembilan bulan kemudian : lahirnya Cythia Cinta Laura with Sweet Escape
4> Rap dance: Born @ Hyatt hotels, and ranjang Elrica di Bishan :) ahhaha.. sampe malem2 ngigo nendang2 udara dia... gara gara mikirin dance ini :) Plus Laptop Suwarto yg nemenin guys dancers kemanapun mereka pergi...The gym room @ the edge jg jadi saksi mata kelahiran beberapa gaya buat cowok dance ini
5> Melan 1 lahir di OHGS mostly, dan di pikiran Elrica....haha. Melan 2 lahir di OHGS & my bedroom
6> Mari berkreasi was born @ 6th floor lobby OHGS :) this is the sweetest for me. Coz gaya2 yg ada itu gaya gabungan dari semua yg gua paksa buat mikir malem itu...ayoh bantu kasih ide...and alot of ppl contrbute...Thanks Alex, Olyv, Ika, Shandy yg kasih U tube :)
Have to mentioned our begadang nite nonton u tube searching for so u think u can dance & get hooked on Computer... :P amazing dah :)
Then on practise matter. Pertamanya jadwalnya frenly, seminggu sekali Sabtu pagi. Terus ganti jadi Minggu siang, masih seminggu sekali, di bulan2 awal. Plus beberapa minggu off coz gua & El yg sibuk wedding. Sampe makin intensive, intensive... sampe akhirnya sangat2...gruelling...tiap hari...sampe sakit pingsan kurusan dan segala macem terjadi kepada semua dancers
Tmpt plg favorit jujur aja: HYATT dengan kaca mereka yg dimana mana :) Pas2-an semua jg baru selesai makan siang abis ibadah, jadi tinggal kucuk2 lari... then latian.. Selama masa2 practise ini, Sweet talk, Nasi lemak & Yaki Tori plus Mac Donalds have been my great friends this couple of months.... :P tiada practise tanpa sweet talk..
And on the dancerz, sampe 2 bulan setelah latian gua masih stress.. karena kurang banget jumlahnya. Sampe pengen ngiklan teriak2 rasanya. So I personally approach some ppl: like Dessy yg wkt itu belon ikut, buat pikirin en ikutin. Jenny yg last minute bilang mau... & Astrid jg.. yg bikin terharu banget.. When the time was right... the numbers seems to be just nice, just perfect. Becky add in to the numbers. Off course ada beberapa yg keliatan ga bisa commit & kurang serius, dengan kejam dan berat hati, gua cut.
En then, masalah pelatian. Awal2 they were handled by me, belon pernah dapet pro latian yg bener, so masih sedikit santai, peluwesan badan tok..kanan kiri depan belakang. Give them some hip hop basic, kakuin badan de es be..
Then come the master : ELRICA !! hahahah :P pemanasan pertama berakibat cukup fatal bagi banyak orang (gua ke WC jadi ga ikutan...selamat... HAHAHAH) Dan di minggu2 selanjutanya everyone is so scarred whenever El take charge !! But seriously....I thank God buat stretching itu...bikin badan LENTUR kayak panah :P... well ga segitunya lah..tapi yg gua tau ini udah makin terasah :)
Tapi the amazing part, yg bikin badan sakit luar biasa itu bukan pemanasan Elrica, instead : Suwarto !!!! Tegaaaaaaaaaaaa banget:P Kl Elrica sakitnya cuman 2 hari...Suwarto lasted 4 days sampe gua ga bisa latian full :P
On dancers progress, for the first few months: I was really happy !! Nah ga percaya kan ? Happynya di awal: karena seems to be okay... cuman tetep aja gua ga yakin sama kemampuan gua to complete all in time... And beneran di beberapa bulan terakhir...TADAAAA !!!!!! sutress dah diriku..napa susah ngajarinnya...napa susah cari tempat buat latian, napa lagu ga jadi2, napa gaya ga keluar keluar, napa ga selesai selesai, napa ga serius2 latiannya, napa dancersnya yg baek yah baek, yg bandel yah bandel... kok susah banget seh... napa ini napa itu dan napa semua ....
Tapi ngeliat kesungguhan mereka buat dateng ke tempat latian dimana mana, dari Hyatt, ke rumah Astrid (thank God for Astrid home...) ke OHGS, ke Dance on us, sampe ke ROOF TOP OHGS kita olah raga lari bersama..... kesungguhan dia orang buat warm up yg bener, sampe push & sit up and jump here there yg selalu .....selalu...bikin gua sakit badan asli... :P .....I'm always touched, and thanking God for it. Ada satu hari El sampe sms : bomb gua very happy with our dancers progress :)... gua jg terharu...karena gua jg happy... Tapi itu awal2 :P ahhhaha
I feel sweetness everytime I remember all this : I remembered being chased out sama org Hyatt, dari satu tempat ke tempat lain sampe naek taxi ke rumah Astrid. I remember squeezing into small practise room in Dance on us padahal orangnya sebagong. I remember coming to OHGS just to find out, room kita udah di rebut orang gara gara salah booking, sampe kita latian di rooftop with shoes on ...terus ujan en then lari2 ke lantai 6.
I remember perasaan merinding tiap kali liat Ricci & Olyv yg narinya sweeettttttt escape bener ... I remember feeling so proud looking at Jenita's hardwork that pays off...she manage to let go ke Cute ness-an nya waktu nari....en got the hiphop style now. I remember fixing Rani's back waktu dia salah tarik. I remember being amazed with Jenny, Jennifer Ruslam who break their limit and dance their best. I remember being awed by Astrid yg hafal cepet banget and dance really really really... well !! amazing !! Others that I don mention does not mean they are not good....I remember all...the happiness:) Bahkan liatin Shandy yg cute gitu jd sangar now, mana dia suka sekali bikin gaya2 yg twist tulang, otot, dan tendon2 dia... :P... serta kadang berbahaya bagi alat vital dia... HAHHAHAH :p Shan shan ... Philip yg maybe narinya sebenernya awalnya ga cool, tapi gayanya sok cool tambah body cool2 aje, en jadi cool narinya. Jennifer Tjung is always the darling of the guyz dance... !! mantab dah ...
Need to say Alex, Dasu en the rest of girls dancers ? I don think I need to mention: u noe how good they have been when they start.... :) they are steady and getting even better !!
The most dramatic change : Michael Felix... aduh...ini beneran !! Dari hopeless jadi hopefull !! And he has David Suwarto yg sabarrrrrrrrrrr banget ngajarin dia... amazing.. Gua inget David buat latih anak2 cowok biar ada muscle, sampe kasih mereka latian jongkok 10 seconds, naik lagi 10 seconds..Push up yg tega nian.... hahahhaha :P tegaaa dah :P
For all this....tiap kali inget...I'm so amazed with God's work through this musical....when I remember ada hari2 Sabtu dimana gua udah mo pingsan nyerah sama ketelatan anak2 yg dateng...or sabtu/ minggu dimana gua dateng dgn perasaan sangat bersalah coz seriously...ga tau hari itu mo ngajar apa selain ngulang... nambah jg dikit banget kali... I felt so bad to waste their time...tapi kl ga latian gimana bisanya...
Percaya ga percaya: si puteran opening itu, si dangdut dance itu & mari berkreasi itu .. beneran bikin on the spot dengan penuh kepasrahan kepada Allah Bapa, semoga dancers2 yg dateng ga berasa wasted time & berasa si Ci bombie dodol bener :P Dangdut dance walaupun conceptnya udah di kamar mandi, belon difinalised.
Tepatnya: I really came in with blank mind, hari ini latian apa yah... Beda dari Cast yg udah ada jadwal mantebnya... I have the rough schedule tapi jadi acak adut gara gara banyak yg bisa dateng di hari2 tertentu only...plus keterbatasan tempat dan lain lainnya...
Thus I'm amazed at how God leads and allow the dance to flow...en tiap kali gua dateng buat ajak anak dancers ini latian, somehow ada feel guilty when I'm not prepared. But when they go home learning sth new and progress..I'm so happy. But it has been a battle field for quite some day :P
Moment yg slalu gua enjoy : is when we sit down together, clap hands, pray and then : Nasi Boengkoes dancers: GO !!! Sometimes I ask them to hug each other :)
Yg lucu2 di hari2 menjelang hari H itu, wkt kita potong booklet together. Tentuin harga tiket VIP yg ga jadi2 dari awal sampe akhir....capek banget dah :P
En di gladi resik kamis malem waktu kita kerjain Shandy, yg ada yg ngomel Elrica... HAHHAHAHAH :) El el ... maap yah gua ga bisa kasih tau loe waktu itu :P Belon lagi yg lucu, reaksi anak2 waktu liat muka si Om Julyen itu.... dan reaksi si Om itu sendiri... HAHHAHA :p rusak :P Terus waktu El kasih ide biar gaya Hendro kayak Gatot kaca, jreng jreng jreng... sekali digayain...susah nahan ketawa....
Mana lagi hari pertama kita gladi kotor sama baju seragam: gua ngakak waktu liat Menthol with seragam Safarinya... HAHHHA :p lucuuuuuuuuuuu
Terus di NAFA gladi resik, I will never forget wkt Hendro acting meleleh waktu dia suruh Friska test mike buat gaya Guru BP ngerayu Pak Pujiono.. HAHAHAH :p gilaaa..ketawa lagi deh sekarang...
Oh... tiap kali latian cast...asli banyak bener yg lucu...!! kata2 Favorit : PENG !!!! kl salah, mereka di PENG !! Hendro, Manda, Raimond & Andreas ini plg demen si Peng !! Adegan berantem dia orang... hahahha :P Kadang kan susah dia orang focuss... jadi kl udah bete dia orang...begaya kayak mo nendang/ nabok sambil teriak : PENG !! hahahha :P
Terus waktu some boys liat girls dance di Hyatt, en ada yg bersuara : HM... AHHAHA :p Elrica langsung ngomel.. Oi !!! jgn mikir yg aneh2 Yah !! HAHAHHAHA :p
En ada satu malem waktu gua ngomel ngomel and ngomelllllllllllll terus gara gara OHGS dikonci en kita didesek pindah tempat lah, singkirin Cihuy lah..ini lah itu lah...begah rasanya :P.... Si El sampe bingung, bomb... napa loe kayak Auntie2 cerewet dari tadi seh bomb ngoceh2 sendiri :P...
Suwarto jg pernah, sok gaya2...jatoh, lehernya twisted, en lie down there for 10 minutes tanpa cowok2 sadar wad happen. En then ..... waktu gua deketin en gua tanya napa dia bilang...twisted.... gua ngakak !! panggil Alex... Alex bukannya bantuin... ngakak jg... bilang kirain dia lagi gaya2 !!
Yg injury udah segerombolan siberat. Dari Jen Tjung yg sampe ga bisa nengok ke kanan & ke kiri...she's sooooo cute.. ga complain pula...hebat... and she injured twice... wow wow...Sampe Elrica yg sampe bengkak kaki apa tangannya gua lupa, cukup parah buat seorang Elrica.... gua yg salah leher gara gara backroll yg ga bener.... I don even remember whether I did the right backroll on stage, yg penting jadi dah temen2 :P harusnya seh gua salah roll..tapi sutra lah...
Ngomong2 soal Alex, dia udah temenin gua ke Bugis beli baju, nendang muka gua di hari itu buat nari melan, udah nyubit fats gua berulang ulang, en on final days, kita sudah berbagi airmata bersama !!! HAUHUAUEH :p Bagus Lex !! Break ur limit, start choreo-ing pls !! U're a good dancer, time to be a good choreographer !!

Suwarto has been of a GREAT help .....Some more nights where we spend on Hongkong Cafe...me complaining my fear on w/ we can make it.....dia yg anterin gua terus2 an ..sampe bantuin take charge of Guys dance....thank you... Vid... It's great to work with u :) Amazing tepatnya, to see what God can do through you.... u are on the right track :)
Jg waktu2 kita sampe kena sedikit "debat suara via email" gara2 some of us off dari pelayanan for a while... demi Nasi kita ini...seru for the fact we stand as one :)
Masa2 gua El & Olyv spontaneously sharing bertiga di Bishan MRT sampe jam 11 malem...I hope she is relieved & learn something:)
And persons that I am happy to have a chance to work with, breaking the wall of silence b/w us for so long, the very very very talented Astrid & Dedi. From here I know Astrid itu bisa dance, basket, acting, drum, nyanyi jg... busyettt....kl Astrid jago masak & Jahit jg....udah deh dimusiumkan aje deh dia....Dan ternyata I found out kl Astrid itu anak SHANGRILA juga !! ahahhaah :) Dedi seh emang diem2 menghanyutkan...ternyata jago mainin lampu toh dia :)
Oh oh...how can I forget, masa2 kita jualan tiket di tanggal 22 Agustus, kita nari dangdut sambil jualan eskrim en teriak2 iklan Nasi Bungkus... dan lumayan terjual semua :) huah :) Together ....together we did it... item barengan semua jemuran di bawah matahari yg asli ga pandang bulu waktu bersinar.....
Percaya ga percaya, sebagian masih lanjut latian after that. Philip Jennifer Tjung Fenny Icha Agia, Becky, Michael, Nathan, Jen Ruslam & some more ppl... Oh my...pdahal itu beneran very very very tiring day.. Sampe gua sempet pusing berat hari itu... Malemnya makan MOS burger :) hahaha :) I remember the MOS burger session where kita know more about Michael Felix... Mike mike :P ampun...
And : the day where gua sampe MC 2 hari tepar karena regimen latian musical yg cukup kejamnya... en... dgn suksesnya gua PINGSAN di hari ketiganya, sept 17 then.... it was just 2 weeks away to musical......I was in devastated state...saat itu seh anak Dancer udah kena omel semua :P ahhahha maap guys ....
Bahkan di hari latian yg very important: Sept 21, El udah kayak twin gua aja.. Pingsan jg :P Injury everywhere..tanda kurang tidur en kecapean :P
WILLY --> kayaknya ga perlu gua ngomongin everyone would agree to say : AWESOME !!! amazing what God did to & through him, I share the same fear as him, gua tau dia jg ga yakin sama kemampuan dia. I remembered having lunch di Raffles and talk with him about this, kita makan nasi bebek hari itu. Gua beneran inget our fear, dia takut apalagi gua....Director gitu loh ... gimana caranya ? Mulai dari mana ? Ngapain aja coba ? Thank God for the amazing talents & help yg dikirim lewat Astrid, Dedi & for me Elrica...I saw with my own eyes how Willy & me grow from this experience. He lost 10 kg, I lost five :).. We grow :) hahhahha :)
FELIX .....what a story he created.... yg tadinya dia mo angkat cerita lain...tapi dia ikutin our choice en garap cerita ini ... sampe dikasih emotion2 yg perlu... plus setting & segala macemnya.... Felix... gileee :) and OH... gua terharuuuuuuuuuuu banget waktu gua denger dia bakalan dateng... I mean.. gua beneran pengen banget dia dateng...dia yg bikin gitu loh ceritanya...tadinya belon pasti dia dateng... for the sacrifise he did... bless him Lord.

Awal taon sampe bulan Maret:
Pd dasarnya kita cuman meeting sekali di Hyatt pas kebaktian 1. I remembered ada Dian, Willy, Ceka, Cipto dan sekian sudah (yg gua inget). Seharusnya kl ga salah mereka udah meeting duluan di akhir taon lalu tapi daku sibux ...but anyway... I'm now officially involved in this Muse Muse... tadinya cuman mo oversee overlook :P hehehehe :P
Producer udah ada : lgsg point org yg paling jago cari duit & organized : DASU !! haha :) oh..tambah lg kita mikirnya : Dasu ada BOIL !! (boil ---> dibaca ---> mobil) .. haha :) jd borong barang gampang :) Dasu ternyata ... stuju !! hore :)
Terus sambil tunggu script dr jagoan kita dr taon kuda sampa taon jepang : Om Hikikomori yg udah hijrah ke Jepang Argentina dan seluruh dunia... kita cari2 Assistant Director..
Di saat spt ini terlintaslah segerombolan manusia2 SMU yg selama ini stengah aktif stengah tidak di gereja karena kesibukan mereka di sekolah : which is.. doing MUSICAL !! Nah...jelas salah kl kita ga undang mereka ikutan berkreasi dong ? Tambah lagi.. ternyata Om Dedi dan Mbak Astrid yg konon udah bertaon taon taon taon taon ...taon...... ikutan SMUKI production ini ...adalah Director dari SMUKI production taon ini... wow !! ... jelas kita undang mereka ikutan..
Mana kita udah nonton musical mereka : in a heartbeat...and kereeeeennnnnn dah itu :) wuih..kl bisa dapet bantuan Astrid & Dedi ... puji Tuhan banget dah
If you ask me, awalnya mah gua ga yakin mereka bilang mau..coz mereka sibux sekali gitu kan orang2nya ...beneran GAA nyangka dah waktu mrk bilang IYAH !!! HUHUHU.... terharu !!
Okie dah.. most likely orang2 nya udah set.. kita move on. Nunggu script yg waktu itu bagaikan nunggu hujan di musim kemarau..karena kita tau jagoan kita Felix jg kerjanya bukan gitaran doang....en then miracles come : Hujan naskah datang :)
With raw scripts on hands, we start audition process. Sbln audition cast dimulai, some ppl udah approach me personally to ask boleh ga mereka join dance karena toh mereka mikir cast & musiciannya ga banyak jg diperluin pasti : orang2 ini adalah Rani dan Ricci !! hahaha :) off course dgn tangan lebar kuterima mereka :)
En then, the first Saturday when audition start, we got dance & cast audition. Nah Willy seh super prepared yah. Yg audition cukup memadai... slotnya manteb, siap deh. We straight away got some good acting & some option to choose for the cast. Nah dancers :P kok ga ada... mana Alex yg tinggal di Tanah merah yg gua minta dateng jauh2 buat bantu dance audition, eh malah bantuin jadi lawan main cast acting all the way...and we found out that dia benernya bisa acting apa aja... tapi dia ga mo jadi cast....
Haih..ckup sedih seh awalnya...harusnya auditionnya siang2 :p...tapi ga ada yg bisa dateng... yg bilang tertarik dateng jg ga nongol...so gone is the first Saturday for dancer casting.. mana gua sebelonnya jg belon format lagi auditionnya bakalan kayak gimana :P...
well... tapi malam setelah YRC, gua audition 3 orang : Ricci, Lily & Michelle. Semua pass. Then weeks gone by.. minggu2 selanjutnya I saw some increase of the dancers.So happy to see some unthinkable name to join... Like Shandy, Agia ... so surprised :)
Ada beberapa hal yg lucu waktu cast audition :
Chika ceritanya jadi character Manda: harus stop-in Alex bunuh diri. Alex being Alex, goodness...bisa aja dia drama rama mama...si Chika keliatan agak putus asa dari yg tadinya Character Manda yg baek gitu...eh malah jadi terakhir lumayan nyerah en mo nyuruh Alex loncat aja... HAHHA :p
Then Jenita audition jadi Cintha...& Guess who's the GALfriend: ALEX !! hahaha:) super power dah berdua.....emang dasar dia orang dua kan emang malunya udah putus dari kapan2 :P Si Jenita waktu ngagumin diri dari bangun tidur... gubrak :P mo puke waktu denger...Narsis abis ini Cintha :P ... hahahah ... salut :) Alex seh... Cheerleader sejati !!
En then, Raymond audisi jadi character Pujiono: disuruh jadi salesman, jual bola basket ke Alex. Manteb dah rayuannya... bilang bakalan jadi ganteng lah, kasih diskon lah, bisa tambah tinggi lah which Alex jadi tersungging dikit dan langsung di counter balik ama Raymond... yg terakhir yg bikin Alex beli....Raymond bilang... kl jadi keren Mas, pasti banyak cewek yg liat..dijamin byk yg naksir mas.....langsung dibayar KONTAN !! WHAHAHHAHA :p
Then pas Raymond jadi character Nando & Alex jadi gangster sekolahan, yg terjadi malah Alex pas ceritanya mo berantem, eh ...KABUR !..takut beneran dia... HAHAH :P
Terus di minggu sesudahnya yg lucu, waktu Andreas audisi: jadi Robert. Dia harus caci maki character Nando yg diperanin sama Dedi. Andreas langsung bilang : Cacing loe... en lanjut dah si Nchep dgn sgl caci maki dia.. lumayan sinis bin kejam yg akhirnya... Meeting akbar Sabtu pagi :) Latian vocal & baca naskah, while dancer semua cuman belajar basic dance dulu yg nantinya jg ga ditari-in coz wkt itu lagu2 narinya belon jadi.. tapi at least semua belajar melemaskan otot dulu :) ahhhah :) okie for a starts...
So months went by, with practises2 & meeting upon meeting from all Directors, Directors with costume, Directors with Props, all comm buat cari duit..ticketing dan segalanya. Awalnya jg cari tempat, ternyata tempat cepet jg dapetnya en fix tanggalnya :)
Yg lucu dari meeting2 Director, is the nite when the name Nasi Boengkoes tercetus. Malem itu we go in details on lagu2 & dance requirement, plus perluasan cerita. Di Starbucks Pla-Sing that nite, the Davids (Chan & Suwarto) came late.
Pas Dasu dtg, kita lg decide enaknya istirahat dimana. En then entah kenapa edan semua malem itu, tiba2 tercetus: gimana kl kita potong waktu Cynthia ketemu Manda (waktu itu masih Manda namanya) di depan Mall. Terus mukanya Manda & Cynthia disorot close up, jreng2 Manda, jreng2 Cynthia, jreng2 Manda... terus ganti2 terus muka mereka berdua makin lama makin cepet ....ala sinetron Indo yg ga jelas....terus hang there.... then...CURTAIN CLOSE :p ....tadaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :P
Off course gua sangat shock dgn ide2 yg terlalu gila itu, belon lagi datenglah Suwarto dgn comment: tiba2 dari atas Robocop jumped down with MACHINE GUN !!!! uh huh ??????? Belon lagi ide dia yg waktu tanding basket biar seru ada 2 kubu...dan segala macem lainnya deh ....
yah ... msh byk hal yg Suwarto lakukan malem itu yg bikin gua slalu bilang Shuddup Vid sblm dia keluar dgn ide yg bikin hati makin panas & mo marah malem itu !! dan itu berlanjut sampe kita pulang bareng di mobil Suwarto....
Jg ada ide2 cerita tambahan yg akhirnya ga jadi dimasukin ke dalem ceritanya. Contoh: tadinya ceritanya Ibu guru BP nya mo dibikin nge fans & jatuh hati sama Pak Pujiono di akhir cerita.... ahhaahah :) ... terus jg Robert & Cynthia mo dipermalukan. Jadi udah tutup curtain udah selesai semua...Robert & Cynthia nongol di dpn panggung...smbl jalanin hukuman mereka gara gara kalah sama si Nando & Nanda...tadinya mo permaluin Ncep.... tapi kita ga tega akhirnya :P hahahhha :)
We were deciding on the musical title: apa yah enaknya ?? Suwarto dgn muka pengharapan dia berkata : Jalan makin membara, Matahari di ujung dunia, Harapan tiada dua, Cinta suci tulus & murni, Masih ada kesempatan... dan sgala title yg skali lg bikin gua yg duduk di dpn...ask him to keep quiet everytime dia mo ngomong. Dia terus KEKEH sama ide : Jalan makin membara..... Dede Yusuf kali yg main... ini jagoannya Nando...bukan si Dede ..Vid... :P

Jg meeting dari costume, yg si Robert & the gank udah di modelin dgn banyak model yg udah ada di kepala waktu itu. Dari yg Abenk, sampe yg sophisticated, sampe akhirnya jd yg terjadi hari itu loh :) Cynthia lebih2 lagi :) hahahah :) udah mo diwarna warni-in abies :)
Meeting with Props allowed me to find out kl NAFA punya rotating stage yg bisa Puter & Naek turun...WEDDDEEEEHHHHH...langsung gua book itu panggung buat naik2 turun pas Girls dance.
Ide awal pun benernya, upacara benderanya cuman mo pake setengah panggung depan aja, terus pas mereka jalan2 keliling sekolah...panggunya MUTER :) di baliknya udah jadi ruang BP :P...wedeeeehhhhhh keren :P... tapi sayang kl gitu jadi sempit so ga memungkinkan :) Bahkan ampir aja Girls dance kita ga muter ... setelah dibargain naik turun yg tidak jadi, karena lebih risky, takut belon sempet naik...so muter jg ga bisa karena bayar lagi...sampe akhirnya ...BISA :p Seriously...kl tuh panggung ga muter yah.... tetep keren seh dancenya .. hahaha ;) cuman ga sekeren kl muter... seneng banget gua wkt dgr kl kita bakal make dia buat muter....SOOOO AMAZED ide awal tercapai..
One meeting @ OHGS itu yg menurut gua plg ... guna/ ga juga... don really noe...tapi lucu for the fact that kita decide bersama si kata2 Nasi boengkoes ini enaknya gimana ngadepnya ? Plus ayam nya bisa diganti apa ? Chicken wing yg lebih enak ? or gimana ? Terus si I nya pake Ikan goreng full/ goreng setengah...
Belon lagi...Shandy being Business Student, polling logo aja.. pake online survey... yg notabene di mata gua ... mirip semua... secara warnanya mirip.... >>>tapi keren banget ga seh pake acara internet survey segala.. hahhaha
And now : Practise time. Waduh, this is the one most gruelling. Kalau pada mo tau dance2 yg ada itu lahir dari mana aja...nah ini dia birthplacenya the dances :
1> Opening dance: yg muter2 itu lahir di OHGS. Inspired by lingkaran di wedding Jojo. Tadinya mo bikin 2 baris lurus..tapi daku gagal :P... en bagusan lingkara. The best part that I was amazed : waktu latian buat Jojo, entah napa kok susah banget to get it done right... pas jadi di weddingnya....wah... terharu !!! Nah waktu latian di OHGS, just once, and itu pertama kalinya daku mulai marah2 sama anak2 dancer .. ahhahah.... soalnya pd kurang serius....tapi mereka just need to practise that day...en JADI !!! oh my oh my... this is my first leap of Joy !!!
2> Dangdut dance: lahir di kamar mandi Rumah gua....sambil mandi otak mikir teruuuuuussssss... ini dangdutnya mo gimana coba yah ? Terlintas Poco2...plus gaya gilanya Alex...dan terjadilah dangdut gilee kita :P... Surprised jg dalam 10 menit di kamar mandi....jadi :P
3> Sweet escape : ini seh ... penuh darah & keringat ... first part lahir di lift lobby OHGS :P Second part yg dimodif berapa kali, lahir di Living room Serangoon, Living Room Bishan, en Gym room Cairhill Road :)...Feedback is fully conceived @ Gym The Edge.. dan sembilan bulan kemudian : lahirnya Cythia Cinta Laura with Sweet Escape
4> Rap dance: Born @ Hyatt hotels, and ranjang Elrica di Bishan :) ahhaha.. sampe malem2 ngigo nendang2 udara dia... gara gara mikirin dance ini :) Plus Laptop Suwarto yg nemenin guys dancers kemanapun mereka pergi...The gym room @ the edge jg jadi saksi mata kelahiran beberapa gaya buat cowok dance ini
5> Melan 1 lahir di OHGS mostly, dan di pikiran Elrica....haha. Melan 2 lahir di OHGS & my bedroom
6> Mari berkreasi was born @ 6th floor lobby OHGS :) this is the sweetest for me. Coz gaya2 yg ada itu gaya gabungan dari semua yg gua paksa buat mikir malem itu...ayoh bantu kasih ide...and alot of ppl contrbute...Thanks Alex, Olyv, Ika, Shandy yg kasih U tube :)
Have to mentioned our begadang nite nonton u tube searching for so u think u can dance & get hooked on Computer... :P amazing dah :)
Then on practise matter. Pertamanya jadwalnya frenly, seminggu sekali Sabtu pagi. Terus ganti jadi Minggu siang, masih seminggu sekali, di bulan2 awal. Plus beberapa minggu off coz gua & El yg sibuk wedding. Sampe makin intensive, intensive... sampe akhirnya sangat2...gruelling...tiap hari...sampe sakit pingsan kurusan dan segala macem terjadi kepada semua dancers
Tmpt plg favorit jujur aja: HYATT dengan kaca mereka yg dimana mana :) Pas2-an semua jg baru selesai makan siang abis ibadah, jadi tinggal kucuk2 lari... then latian.. Selama masa2 practise ini, Sweet talk, Nasi lemak & Yaki Tori plus Mac Donalds have been my great friends this couple of months.... :P tiada practise tanpa sweet talk..
And on the dancerz, sampe 2 bulan setelah latian gua masih stress.. karena kurang banget jumlahnya. Sampe pengen ngiklan teriak2 rasanya. So I personally approach some ppl: like Dessy yg wkt itu belon ikut, buat pikirin en ikutin. Jenny yg last minute bilang mau... & Astrid jg.. yg bikin terharu banget.. When the time was right... the numbers seems to be just nice, just perfect. Becky add in to the numbers. Off course ada beberapa yg keliatan ga bisa commit & kurang serius, dengan kejam dan berat hati, gua cut.
En then, masalah pelatian. Awal2 they were handled by me, belon pernah dapet pro latian yg bener, so masih sedikit santai, peluwesan badan tok..kanan kiri depan belakang. Give them some hip hop basic, kakuin badan de es be..
Then come the master : ELRICA !! hahahah :P pemanasan pertama berakibat cukup fatal bagi banyak orang (gua ke WC jadi ga ikutan...selamat... HAHAHAH) Dan di minggu2 selanjutanya everyone is so scarred whenever El take charge !! But seriously....I thank God buat stretching itu...bikin badan LENTUR kayak panah :P... well ga segitunya lah..tapi yg gua tau ini udah makin terasah :)
Tapi the amazing part, yg bikin badan sakit luar biasa itu bukan pemanasan Elrica, instead : Suwarto !!!! Tegaaaaaaaaaaaa banget:P Kl Elrica sakitnya cuman 2 hari...Suwarto lasted 4 days sampe gua ga bisa latian full :P
On dancers progress, for the first few months: I was really happy !! Nah ga percaya kan ? Happynya di awal: karena seems to be okay... cuman tetep aja gua ga yakin sama kemampuan gua to complete all in time... And beneran di beberapa bulan terakhir...TADAAAA !!!!!! sutress dah diriku..napa susah ngajarinnya...napa susah cari tempat buat latian, napa lagu ga jadi2, napa gaya ga keluar keluar, napa ga selesai selesai, napa ga serius2 latiannya, napa dancersnya yg baek yah baek, yg bandel yah bandel... kok susah banget seh... napa ini napa itu dan napa semua ....
Tapi ngeliat kesungguhan mereka buat dateng ke tempat latian dimana mana, dari Hyatt, ke rumah Astrid (thank God for Astrid home...) ke OHGS, ke Dance on us, sampe ke ROOF TOP OHGS kita olah raga lari bersama..... kesungguhan dia orang buat warm up yg bener, sampe push & sit up and jump here there yg selalu .....selalu...bikin gua sakit badan asli... :P .....I'm always touched, and thanking God for it. Ada satu hari El sampe sms : bomb gua very happy with our dancers progress :)... gua jg terharu...karena gua jg happy... Tapi itu awal2 :P ahhhaha
I feel sweetness everytime I remember all this : I remembered being chased out sama org Hyatt, dari satu tempat ke tempat lain sampe naek taxi ke rumah Astrid. I remember squeezing into small practise room in Dance on us padahal orangnya sebagong. I remember coming to OHGS just to find out, room kita udah di rebut orang gara gara salah booking, sampe kita latian di rooftop with shoes on ...terus ujan en then lari2 ke lantai 6.
I remember perasaan merinding tiap kali liat Ricci & Olyv yg narinya sweeettttttt escape bener ... I remember feeling so proud looking at Jenita's hardwork that pays off...she manage to let go ke Cute ness-an nya waktu nari....en got the hiphop style now. I remember fixing Rani's back waktu dia salah tarik. I remember being amazed with Jenny, Jennifer Ruslam who break their limit and dance their best. I remember being awed by Astrid yg hafal cepet banget and dance really really really... well !! amazing !! Others that I don mention does not mean they are not good....I remember all...the happiness:) Bahkan liatin Shandy yg cute gitu jd sangar now, mana dia suka sekali bikin gaya2 yg twist tulang, otot, dan tendon2 dia... :P... serta kadang berbahaya bagi alat vital dia... HAHHAHAH :p Shan shan ... Philip yg maybe narinya sebenernya awalnya ga cool, tapi gayanya sok cool tambah body cool2 aje, en jadi cool narinya. Jennifer Tjung is always the darling of the guyz dance... !! mantab dah ...
Need to say Alex, Dasu en the rest of girls dancers ? I don think I need to mention: u noe how good they have been when they start.... :) they are steady and getting even better !!
The most dramatic change : Michael Felix... aduh...ini beneran !! Dari hopeless jadi hopefull !! And he has David Suwarto yg sabarrrrrrrrrrr banget ngajarin dia... amazing.. Gua inget David buat latih anak2 cowok biar ada muscle, sampe kasih mereka latian jongkok 10 seconds, naik lagi 10 seconds..Push up yg tega nian.... hahahhaha :P tegaaa dah :P
For all this....tiap kali inget...I'm so amazed with God's work through this musical....when I remember ada hari2 Sabtu dimana gua udah mo pingsan nyerah sama ketelatan anak2 yg dateng...or sabtu/ minggu dimana gua dateng dgn perasaan sangat bersalah coz seriously...ga tau hari itu mo ngajar apa selain ngulang... nambah jg dikit banget kali... I felt so bad to waste their time...tapi kl ga latian gimana bisanya...
Percaya ga percaya: si puteran opening itu, si dangdut dance itu & mari berkreasi itu .. beneran bikin on the spot dengan penuh kepasrahan kepada Allah Bapa, semoga dancers2 yg dateng ga berasa wasted time & berasa si Ci bombie dodol bener :P Dangdut dance walaupun conceptnya udah di kamar mandi, belon difinalised.
Tepatnya: I really came in with blank mind, hari ini latian apa yah... Beda dari Cast yg udah ada jadwal mantebnya... I have the rough schedule tapi jadi acak adut gara gara banyak yg bisa dateng di hari2 tertentu only...plus keterbatasan tempat dan lain lainnya...
Thus I'm amazed at how God leads and allow the dance to flow...en tiap kali gua dateng buat ajak anak dancers ini latian, somehow ada feel guilty when I'm not prepared. But when they go home learning sth new and progress..I'm so happy. But it has been a battle field for quite some day :P
Moment yg slalu gua enjoy : is when we sit down together, clap hands, pray and then : Nasi Boengkoes dancers: GO !!! Sometimes I ask them to hug each other :)
Yg lucu2 di hari2 menjelang hari H itu, wkt kita potong booklet together. Tentuin harga tiket VIP yg ga jadi2 dari awal sampe akhir....capek banget dah :P
En di gladi resik kamis malem waktu kita kerjain Shandy, yg ada yg ngomel Elrica... HAHHAHAHAH :) El el ... maap yah gua ga bisa kasih tau loe waktu itu :P Belon lagi yg lucu, reaksi anak2 waktu liat muka si Om Julyen itu.... dan reaksi si Om itu sendiri... HAHHAHA :p rusak :P Terus waktu El kasih ide biar gaya Hendro kayak Gatot kaca, jreng jreng jreng... sekali digayain...susah nahan ketawa....
Mana lagi hari pertama kita gladi kotor sama baju seragam: gua ngakak waktu liat Menthol with seragam Safarinya... HAHHHA :p lucuuuuuuuuuuu
Terus di NAFA gladi resik, I will never forget wkt Hendro acting meleleh waktu dia suruh Friska test mike buat gaya Guru BP ngerayu Pak Pujiono.. HAHAHAH :p gilaaa..ketawa lagi deh sekarang...
Oh... tiap kali latian cast...asli banyak bener yg lucu...!! kata2 Favorit : PENG !!!! kl salah, mereka di PENG !! Hendro, Manda, Raimond & Andreas ini plg demen si Peng !! Adegan berantem dia orang... hahahha :P Kadang kan susah dia orang focuss... jadi kl udah bete dia orang...begaya kayak mo nendang/ nabok sambil teriak : PENG !! hahahha :P
Terus waktu some boys liat girls dance di Hyatt, en ada yg bersuara : HM... AHHAHA :p Elrica langsung ngomel.. Oi !!! jgn mikir yg aneh2 Yah !! HAHAHHAHA :p
En ada satu malem waktu gua ngomel ngomel and ngomelllllllllllll terus gara gara OHGS dikonci en kita didesek pindah tempat lah, singkirin Cihuy lah..ini lah itu lah...begah rasanya :P.... Si El sampe bingung, bomb... napa loe kayak Auntie2 cerewet dari tadi seh bomb ngoceh2 sendiri :P...
Suwarto jg pernah, sok gaya2...jatoh, lehernya twisted, en lie down there for 10 minutes tanpa cowok2 sadar wad happen. En then ..... waktu gua deketin en gua tanya napa dia bilang...twisted.... gua ngakak !! panggil Alex... Alex bukannya bantuin... ngakak jg... bilang kirain dia lagi gaya2 !!
Yg injury udah segerombolan siberat. Dari Jen Tjung yg sampe ga bisa nengok ke kanan & ke kiri...she's sooooo cute.. ga complain pula...hebat... and she injured twice... wow wow...Sampe Elrica yg sampe bengkak kaki apa tangannya gua lupa, cukup parah buat seorang Elrica.... gua yg salah leher gara gara backroll yg ga bener.... I don even remember whether I did the right backroll on stage, yg penting jadi dah temen2 :P harusnya seh gua salah roll..tapi sutra lah...
Ngomong2 soal Alex, dia udah temenin gua ke Bugis beli baju, nendang muka gua di hari itu buat nari melan, udah nyubit fats gua berulang ulang, en on final days, kita sudah berbagi airmata bersama !!! HAUHUAUEH :p Bagus Lex !! Break ur limit, start choreo-ing pls !! U're a good dancer, time to be a good choreographer !!
Ncep jg, dari lucu lugu jadi ganteng Belagu !!! Demi jadi Robert dia sampe nge gym !! BAGUS NCEP !! berhasil :)
Suwarto has been of a GREAT help .....Some more nights where we spend on Hongkong Cafe...me complaining my fear on w/ we can make it.....dia yg anterin gua terus2 an ..sampe bantuin take charge of Guys dance....thank you... Vid... It's great to work with u :) Amazing tepatnya, to see what God can do through you.... u are on the right track :)

And persons that I am happy to have a chance to work with, breaking the wall of silence b/w us for so long, the very very very talented Astrid & Dedi. From here I know Astrid itu bisa dance, basket, acting, drum, nyanyi jg... busyettt....kl Astrid jago masak & Jahit jg....udah deh dimusiumkan aje deh dia....Dan ternyata I found out kl Astrid itu anak SHANGRILA juga !! ahahhaah :) Dedi seh emang diem2 menghanyutkan...ternyata jago mainin lampu toh dia :)
Oh oh...how can I forget, masa2 kita jualan tiket di tanggal 22 Agustus, kita nari dangdut sambil jualan eskrim en teriak2 iklan Nasi Bungkus... dan lumayan terjual semua :) huah :) Together ....together we did it... item barengan semua jemuran di bawah matahari yg asli ga pandang bulu waktu bersinar.....
Percaya ga percaya, sebagian masih lanjut latian after that. Philip Jennifer Tjung Fenny Icha Agia, Becky, Michael, Nathan, Jen Ruslam & some more ppl... Oh my...pdahal itu beneran very very very tiring day.. Sampe gua sempet pusing berat hari itu... Malemnya makan MOS burger :) hahaha :) I remember the MOS burger session where kita know more about Michael Felix... Mike mike :P ampun...
And : the day where gua sampe MC 2 hari tepar karena regimen latian musical yg cukup kejamnya... en... dgn suksesnya gua PINGSAN di hari ketiganya, sept 17 then.... it was just 2 weeks away to musical......I was in devastated state...saat itu seh anak Dancer udah kena omel semua :P ahhahha maap guys ....
Bahkan di hari latian yg very important: Sept 21, El udah kayak twin gua aja.. Pingsan jg :P Injury everywhere..tanda kurang tidur en kecapean :P
En then I remembered, 3 weeks before D-day, somewhere on early September where Girls dance are finally complete. Gua inget perasaanya yg SSSOOOO Happy & sooooo relieved. Yg jadi stress selanjutnya is dance cowok & melan. And then...just 1 week before D day... dance cowok jadi..oh my.... the hype in the studio.. bahkan Ncep pun ngerasa jauh lbh enak dance di Studio :) ahhahah ..
En di hari itu beneran si James itu joker sejati. hahahaha, waktu dibilang cowok2 harus pake Nipple tape: dia bilang : OW...Nipple !!! gubrak.... Then waktu dibilangin harus pake celana dalem yg ketat to cover your part: sekali lagi James : My part ? oh tidakkkkkkkk Jamessss :P
Pas latian yg cowok2 dada ketemu dada, ada berapa kali Ncep & Suwarto missed, terus Alex mo tunjukin gimana caranya...dia toast with Suwarto....bisa...and then mereka pikir ganti orang aja yg tingginya cukup sama with Ncep.... Philip dgn sangat senang, with me with me......Dasar dia... !! Dia malah ampir mau chest toast sama Alex & Michael !! Si Michael mo ke planet mana kl sampe kejadian..adoooohhh :P.. There's one part where Ncep udah lari.. mundur lagi... hahahhaa :P Philip serem banget lah... :P But in the end sama Philip seh... diberkatilah kau Ncep... smoga tidak terjadi internal injury...
Ketemu & kerja sama orang2 berbakat yg bikin gua ter-herannnn herannnnn: Manda, Raimond, Hendroooo... ampun ini satu, hahhha :), Christine--> Top dah, Nchep yg emang selalu memukau, Cipto, Ceka.WILLY --> kayaknya ga perlu gua ngomongin everyone would agree to say : AWESOME !!! amazing what God did to & through him, I share the same fear as him, gua tau dia jg ga yakin sama kemampuan dia. I remembered having lunch di Raffles and talk with him about this, kita makan nasi bebek hari itu. Gua beneran inget our fear, dia takut apalagi gua....Director gitu loh ... gimana caranya ? Mulai dari mana ? Ngapain aja coba ? Thank God for the amazing talents & help yg dikirim lewat Astrid, Dedi & for me Elrica...I saw with my own eyes how Willy & me grow from this experience. He lost 10 kg, I lost five :).. We grow :) hahhahha :)
FELIX .....what a story he created.... yg tadinya dia mo angkat cerita lain...tapi dia ikutin our choice en garap cerita ini ... sampe dikasih emotion2 yg perlu... plus setting & segala macemnya.... Felix... gileee :) and OH... gua terharuuuuuuuuuuu banget waktu gua denger dia bakalan dateng... I mean.. gua beneran pengen banget dia dateng...dia yg bikin gitu loh ceritanya...tadinya belon pasti dia dateng... for the sacrifise he did... bless him Lord.
menthol jg ga kalah lucu, en last but not least shocking : ikaaaaaaa....aduhhh Ka.... mbak2 Jawa yg centil jg ga ada sebrapa centilnya Ibu BP orange kita :P

Nasi boengkoes.. is over !! I really thot it will be an end of my missery.... hahah... and dance journy, I never pray that this will be the beginning of sth greater....but seriously...I felt this is just a BEGINNING OF GOOD THINGS THAT GOD HAS STARTED !!
Gosh.... it has been my SWEETEST ESCAPADE, SWEATFUL, EYE OPENING, REWARDING, GOD GLORIFYING Journey ....
