2010 now.

hm..

Just read all my blog posting in 2009. I can see the change of tone in my posting since, well, I first started to blog to recently.

Yah, basically I think I prefer the latest more carefree me recently, than my covered up self in the beginning of this blog. Yah, masuk akal lah. Basically, I don't really love to be so uptight about myself too, but well.. it take sometime to learn to take myself less seriously.

Dan itu semua bisa diliat dari postingan gua yg makin dikit pakai perumpamaan yg sulit dan deep2 bener bandingin dulu.

But, it's fun, en kadang amazing seh kl baca lg, my parabel. It's like I got to decode my own code :P HAHAHHAH :) en sometimes bingung juga, kok bisa yah gua waktu itu merangkai kata yg sedemikian sulitnya ? ini kl udah kebiasaan pake bahasa nyablak jadi males mikir yg deep deep gitu:)

Well anyway, one thing I never regret will be : having a blog !! Sekali lagi thank you Mbak Lydia Sistasi (yg udah makin jarang ngeblog *lirik2*) who has inpired me at first to blog. And to all yg masih ngeblog en has fulfilled my dayz with funny sweet inspiring posting, I just have a simple request: keep writing girlz & guyz:) You've blessed my dayz :)

Coz yah, dari baca2 SMUA (sampe mata juling neh) postingan gua di taon 2009, baru gua inget kl ternyata gua udah AMPIR pingsan di March 09, en ternyata pingsan BENERAN jg di September 09. Wah, kok kayak 6 bulan sekali ini ? tiap ganti musim ujan ke kemarau ? Jangan2 I'm actually Season Fairy ? *jreng...ini kayaknya koslet kosmik waktu taon berganti en bulan bergesar 15.25 meter mendekati venus. Kebanyakan nonton Disney*

Yah balik lagi ke kenyataan : 2009 has passed. The one year that I dare to declare :
THE BEST YEAR EVER EXPERIENCED BY BOMBIE.

hm: let's count my blessing again:

1> TLG services is finally combined into one YRC. (Great Opening move).
On Jo's bday celebracion : Wijohn announce a NEWS :) They are enggaged :)

2> Marina's wedding.

3> Birthday month : Buffet @ The Line, Dian's prewed foto, & Birth-day !

4> April : Perang kue di ultah Rani & off course : Duet bombie jenita dalam Acara : "cinta bersemi dari jadi - jadian hadiah ulang taon". Sekali lagi selamat pada kedua kontestan: David & Feriska Theresia-Mu (hoho) yg menjadi peserta acara perdana kami :) Hidup biejen (bombie jen jen)

5> May - June : ELG LADIES BACHELORETTE nite @ The Beauffort Sentosa dengan bintang tamu : Chairwoman Mrs Fenny Lo Wijaya. In May : welcoming the birth of Farrell Asido Sihombing.

6> July : Handoko -Winda's wedding & off course : Ricky - Jojo's wedding. The first lady to open the ELG wedding Year of 2009.

7> August : Wuih. Full moon.
Opened by the wedding of Diana & Alfona di Shang-na tgl 2 (duana). The second lady following Mrs. Wijaya & Mrs Gunawan footstep.
Followed by Rita -Baplanx on August 15. And.....
August 29: Sistasi - Hong Hong si, Sheraton. Congrats Mrs Suryadi.

9> SEPTEMBER 26' 2009: NASI BOENGKOES THE MUSICAL. Highlight #1.
Dream come true number 1.

10> October : Widiya - John wedding. Congratz to Mrs Seng, the final ELG lady to call it close for the wedding year of 2009. Wohooo :)

11> NOVEMBER : I'm in USA !!!!!! Highlight #2.
Long tim dream come true number 2.

12> December : Crashed to reality knowing that I'm no longer in USA and the year has to come to an end and that 2010 is coming. Hehehehehehe :P

En di akhir decade of pembukaan abad 20 ini gua masih singleeeeeee... & belon punya chance buat beli HDB karena hal itu....adoooh :P gimana ini ? *garuk2 kepala mikir plan J. Coz plan a-i udah kepake dari taon 2001 -09*

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE !!

On this beautiful Christmas, an idea struck me, that will make life even more interesting next year !! hehehe :)

Well, basically I find that a blog that's fulfilled with specific experience are interesting, right ? Like when I was travelling, I am excited to write my blog and ppl are excited to read my blog too :) ..bener gitu ?

Contoh lain : do you watch Julie & Julia ? Julie start her book, through blogging her experiences cooking over 300 recipes in Julia's book in 100 dayz :) Another sample, I just watch Running on Heels in E!, and the girl blogged her red carpet experience in Marie Claire's website :)

Basically, I find that my daily SG life is not yet that interesting to be blogged all over, so we need a lil spices here and there !!

SO : I decided that I will make a serial blog on : MY DIET EXPERIENCE!! *don laugh!! I'm serious*

Which, I'm going to start next year, 2010. I hope the diet does not last for a whole year (wah....can die like that !@#@!$%@), but I will select a period of time, and blog about it. I'm looking from short period first, like..7 days ? Well, we gotta start low.....right ? Besides, who doesn't love food ?

But well, as I aged, I realise that years are not really on my side anymore, so I guess I got to start looking into my diet seriously, make our lifestyle healthier, and I really really want, for once in my life, oh please....I want to finally be able to fulfill this 28.5 ++ years of dream....to feel slim and...be proportionately slim according to my height & bones.

Just for once....before the body prepares for a space extension for the landing of babies should He grants :)

Beside : who knows again, this experience can help others live healthy ?

hmph..

So now, I'll think on how I'll run it next year :)

Since I foresee that my Christmas gonna be sepi sepi ajee ...
*huhuhuhu....tau gitu Christmas di Amrik....huihiihihih ngarep....hihihi*

I look forward to end of the year work that we always do.
Making resolution.

I did not manage to fulfill my 2 resolution this year which I will carry forward:
1> Get Singapore driving license
2> Finish reading bible.

Others are fulfilled, according to His will. Padahal 2 resolution itu di atas yg gua bikin dengan kepala penuh kesadaran dan tekad :) Yg lain, just simple wish yg jujur jg ga tau darimana datengnya, eh....fulfilled :) Thus I said, fulfilled according to His will :)

So as usual, I will let Him lead me in pen-ning down my rezl :) coz that way, akan lebih banyak terpenuhi, dibanding kecewa di akhir taon gara gara ....yah.....carry forward lagi :P eheheheh :)

Yg selalu sama seh : DIET !! ahhahaha ini udah kayak resolusi seumur idup. Kapan yah one day gua tulis di resolusi gua : NO DIET THIS YEAR !!! Wohooo :P that will be heaven !!

Anyway: I have to make 2 resolution this year. One for myself, one for TLG Danz. Hm..tough work :P And I only have less than 1.5 week to do so di Jakarta. Belon lagi mikirin TLG Danz recruitment, promo day, practise, project...wadohhhh :P...udah mumet pala gua :P makanya malem malem susah tidur :P mikirin Danz terus, en mikir lagi... am I putting myself for something too big ? hm.... Perlu pertolonganMu Bapa :)

So...yah...any input for making this resolution are WELCOME !!!

mengenai reunie

Jd.kejadianlah reuni gua di Sabtu kemaren Dec 19 @ St Moritz Puri Indah.
Serem jg waktu mo dateng but considering that my sis has paid for the tick...yah...bu hao yi si kl ga dateng...

En so....mendaratlah gua di lantai 5 Lounge St Moritz.
Nyampe2 gua coba cari tampang2 familiar, en ruangan reuninya :P
yg gua ga sadar...tempat reuninya itu is the lounge itself ..so pada dasarnya ga ada ruangan special ala wedding gitu..

so... I kept looking to find our recep table, expecting there will be familiar faces there
yg ada malah ini dua anak yg keliatan masih kuliahan gitu...manggil Ci mo ke reunian yah ?
oh iyah...*jreng....gua pikir dua anak itu jagain sweet seventeen-an temennya*

so ..register lah gua di guest book. then suddenly :
BOMBER !!!
jreng jreng...mulailah bertebaran panggilan familiar gua yg dulu.....

searching the voice: ternyata Ingrid with mom, dad, sis, hubby, 2 kids + maid..
Busyet dah...bawa sekompi perang :) ehheehh:) akhirnya ketemu jg gua sama anak2nya Ingrid after all this while cuman virtually ngintip doang :P

gua pikir semuanya ikut reunian....ternyata cuman Ingrid doang :) yg lain jalan2 :)
soon after....lots more ppl started coming...
yg udah biasa liat gua di FB, msh kenal gua..
yg udah sekian lama ga liat....need really extra sometimes to extract my name from Melissa....erm...melissa...erm......
biasanya gua ga sabar ....straight away I say: BOMBER :) hohohoho :P
*ada enaknya punya nickname yg agak digemari oleh kalangan ramai since nickname bomber itu pada awalnya suppose to be mocking the fat me*

*Puji Tuhan beda. Kl masih sama jg gua yg stress bertaon2 diet ga berhasil....msh blm berhasil banget seh....tapi tetep HALELUYAH !! *

yah..gitulah reaksi kalayak ramai. I reckon that yg deket gua should be able to recognize me. Ternyata: belon tentu begitu.

Contoh: Charles udah lewat2 dari ujung ruangan..sampe balik lagi khusus datengin gua just to say..Sorry Bomb...beneran gua ga kenalin loe....asli sorry..

Bagus akhirnya kenalin Les, gua pikir loe udah lupa utang budi Bakso goreng mama gua ke loe en contekan2 yg gua kasih dengan setia dari SMP sampe SMA....Plus loe yg tiap taon kerjanya ngeledekin ambisi gua buat sekolah di Singapore with screaming dgn tangan dikepalkan di udara : NANYANG !!! * I end up in NUS*

So the nite begin with Cece * nama asli : Lawren-CE* en si cakep Amel * yg masih tetep cakep always* as MC. Cece emang udah Pro. Udah solo karir as WO cum MC cum sexy rephot. Amel, gua emang selalu yakin dia bisa MC, cuman karena dulu biasalah...temenan sama cewek2 yg ga gitu seneng sama dia....so pada ga demen lah kl dia bisa segalanya....jd mereka bilang MC nya ga bagus lah.. ini lah itu lah...gua seh iyah iyah aja... Padahal..see that night ? She's good :) Should take it further seh...

Pertama2 mereka kenalin guru2 yg dateng malem itu. Pak Herman, kepala sekolah favorit gua, yg ternyata anak ceweknya ngeles Mandarin sama my mom *jreng...kecil ga seh dunia* dateng jg. Pak Heri juga, yg gandengin gua selama hiking waktu retreat. Thankful banget dah gua ada dia, kl ga seh gua udah di jurang sekarang. Sementara dia ga inget gua, I remind him that gua yg dia sebut2 truk gandeng, langsung dia inget !! En, Pak Agus yg ada di sebrang sana tiba2 bilang : woh...inget saya itu. Waktu turun jurang jg...waduh Mel....harus nahanin kamu Mel...

Dasar itu guru2 .....emang gua segede truk beneran ? hahaaha :) tapi gapapa lah..toh mereka jadi inget gua sampe sekarang :P

Terus mereka puter foto2 jadul..AH DOH !!! itu paling Aib ga seh ? Si cece bilang : foto2 narsis kita....narsis bin najis :P HAHAHHA :p ember...aib bener dah itu foto2 :P Gua yg stick sama si Jessica Bajay all the way...sampe ngumpet2 liat fotonya :P anehnya : banyak yg gua ga inget taking that Pics :P terlalu kenangan buruk gua rasa ....

Lanjut lagi : makan, bonding, games, puter video, mingle around... :) Games yg gua salut : bawa memorabilia k7 yg masih ada. En si Ella, jauh2 dari SG (terakhir ketemu gua di MRT SG ga tau masih taon ayam apa taon anjing --> 2005/2006) bawa KAOS RETRET gambar si Pumba dari Lion King yg nyanyi Hakuna Matata itu.

Busyet..masih ada ?? SALUT !...Udah tipis belel bin lusuh abies seh :) Cece masih ada kartu perpus...ampun ampun :P harusnya gua bawa Dasi upacara yah !! HAHAAH :p

selesai deh the nite....
Setelah semua pulang satu persatu, kita2 yg kesisa pada karaoke :P cuman 5 orang :P Si Merce, Ricky, Boim, Maria & gua....
mereka pada bilang gua ga nyanyi yah, okie...gua seh gapapa...jangan nanya gua nyanyi atau ga.....gua diajak karaoke seh udah kayak paus dilempar ke lautan...or puppy dapet tulang :) hohoho :P

I go home with conclusion that : well ....ppl never really change.
The bad boyz.....just stay az bad boyz :P even though they are married, have business, have kids..and etc lah..they still mingle together...and just like the olden dayz...just bad boyz :P

Cewek2 alim...tetep aja alim disana...go home on time..
Cowok2 alim...nah...belon tentu tetep alim...jujur aja dah :) haha :)

The gank that was formed when we were on our first day in our High School, though less seen, is still there. We go back to the same friends we were close with. haha :) lucu...

Basically, I conclude : our personality has always been there since we were just 10. Our friends choice reflect who we are comfortable getting along with, and though one may change for the worst / better one, it wouldn't be too far.

Ga heran our parents are so panicked whenever we show the sign that we have gone asthray, walaupun itu cuman salah jalan 5 derajat doang :P

But one particular person does make headline :
Be-lonk : anak jagoan bolak balik ruangan kep sek. Dijemur di lapangan sekolah telanjang dada for 2 dayz. Bandel LUARRRR BIASA !!! Kasar, sok jago, belagu, kayak ga ada masa depan....gubrak deh

udah jadi : Pendeta Daniel Adhi Surya. Lagi tugas di Ambon...
He couldn't come so he sent a video, which shows how REALLLYYYY...really speechless and humble this man is.

He said clearly : I know my past. I know what I did, how snobbish arrogant norak belagunya gua. For all wrongs that I did, I am sorry, and seriously there's a part of me that's ashamed to meet you guyz remembering what I did. But that's not becoz of it that I don't come today.

hm: adem rasanya hearing such a change God can do towards those we consider hopeless case :)

High School reunion

well...I'm about to have one soon tommorrow :P

though I felt like that serial is exaggerating on how scarry a high school reunion can be
where past skeleton and unpopularity is digged out in a mean way....
ketemu temen lama, musuh lama, cinta lama, pacar lama... blueh:P

somehow....gua jg....jadi agak2 serem ngadepin besok :P

I'll figure out in Indo, how to prepare myself to be ready for nex demanding year =P
*by means demanding.... remember that I have commit myself to another year ++ of ministry en drilling brain for new ideaz ... ho....ho...ho...ho...*

The end of the Best year I've ever had is round the corner.
If I can ask for time to stop now... I would...

but I would've never experienced the best year of my life if I never embrace 2009.
or experience the pain of being cheated badly and getting out of it stronger if I regret 2008
and so on....

so...no...I'm not going to take a coin Toss to see if 2010 will be better and higher than 2009.
Coz I know... it WILL.

Life has been getting better and better and better when one stay in the faithfulness way in Serving the Most Highest King of kings and Lord of Lord..

so... let's take it higher..

and make me humbler
coz I think I've lost it

surely they worried, wondering whether we'll ever gonna make it in this big big world

so being parents
they force, press, cultivate
forcely or passionately passing on all the good values
in hoping to prepare us for the bizzare world

still..the worry is there...
can we make it ?

Pressured by their hopes and wishes on us

Now that I'm 28
not a wonder that I tend to be parental most of the time...
Looking at the next generation...
I am....worried

Maybe coz I've conclude it by taking samples from the complacent ones
Some ugly human behaviour that makes you wonder....
those Sharpay kind of young ladies...are walking around us
really...

not to discourage those who I know have been bitten, bantered, stormed, trampled
by the harshness of reality of life
I salute them for hanging on so tight.... and I know they gonna make it...

But for all those Sharpay kind of young ladies & lass

Singapore, is small & sweet. Isn't it ? Small country that you can practically cross it over in less than 2 hour from Changi to Tuas, woodlands checkpoint to harbourfront.

So, it's boring if you have nothing much happen while you're in this place. Right ? Begitulah kesimpulan gua...thus explain 'kejadian2' yg daku alami selama 9.5 taon disini

So hari ini, kejadianlah lagi...another painful experience in a life of a bombie.

Pernah ketimpa something yg berat ? I hope never. Bagi yg pernah, I share your pain. Coz today, gua ketimpa something yg .....well..berat !!!

Bukan badan gua, bukan tangan gua...notabene yg ketimpa ga kurang ga lebih : my sweet sweet left toe !! Si manis jempol kiri bombie.

Ketimpa apa ? U guess !!
Answer is : CPU COMPUTER kantor gua yg zaman bahela !!!! Maksud Bahela disini, adalah CPU compie yg minimal dimension nya adalah 25 cm x 50 cm X 50 cm (panjang X lebar X tinggi)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA !!! *jeritan di hati gua ini hanya didengar oleh Allah yg maha kuasa, coz gua tdk bersuara sedikitpun when it happens. Too shock !!*

Apa rasanya ? WOW !! Nano nano !! Gua ga bisa teriak, ga bisa berkutik, cuman utk sementar gua menduga kl sakit melahirkan mungkin ada 7.5 X lipetnya ini. So what I did ? Menjatohkan diri ke kursi terdekat biar ga pingsan, lirik si jempol dan aliran darah segar yg mengalir kayak sungai ciliwung, sambil gather strength buat buru buru ke WC to cuci si jempol biar ga infeksi.

Cenut Cenut Cenut... masih cenut sampe sekarang..

huaaaiiiiihhh.... mereka semua bilang kuku gua bakalan copot nantinya

I think I need to be prepared though. Kl sampe kejadian, tanya El deh yg udah biasa handle kuku copot for the love of dancing ballet in point shoe, gimana caranya handle kuku copot.

Couple of things I don't miss from SG while I'm away :

1> the unfriendliness :
Unfriendly hot & humid weather, Unfriendly service we got right away when we stepped into Immigration service to every corner of shopping mall in this city , unfriendly time speed. Just....unfriendly.

2> Non Stop never ending cold call from sales people offering Credit Card, Spa Package and so on. Added to that : SMS Promo.

3> Funnily, I don miss any kind of Singapore food :P hehehe.....Sorrie :P

4> Some request that made u feel like nothing more than just a human being used up so much for the well being of others : all in the name of, again everyone : Service !! let's call it simply : felt like a Maid, an un-appreciated maid ! U’ve heard it. U’ve seen it. Yup, I really am back in SG. My feet are stepping on this hot tropical land. Huaih !!

Don noe why, suddenly today : I MISS STATES SO SO SO SO SO MUCH !!! huaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Especially knowing that they are going to celebrate Thanksgiving soon. A part of me really wants to be with those beautiful ppl in LA, eating turkey, giving thanks, sharing love, and enjoy the cold weather the country can offer! Kyk msh ga percaya that the holiday of my life, my dreamland, dreamt momentz, are finally over.

So now what ? Ga jelas!! Lost lg. En still not believing that life got to run busy messy crazy (office wise) for a short while before another short break in Indo.

Oh Lord, boleh ga Lissa stay di States aja ? Cari duit sana, cari pacar sana, idup di sana ? hehehehe :P

Guess I’m asking for too much ! hoho

When on the last day (Saturday Nov 21) when I was rushing to buy some last minute shopping list (and another luggage : hehe * peace sign *), a strange feeling cross my mind that I’m actually kind of tired of this shopping, walking around, killing time, enjoying scenery moment, and burning a hole in my wallet.

I figured it happened cause I don’t do anything much there that make me feel usefull. I’m not productive. I’m only bumming around, shop, and shop, and shop again and again, repotin org terus nganterin ke sana sini, keep satisfying all that I want and need, but what’s all in the end? Even when I can get everything that I want, I still feel kind of empty somehow. This socialite Paradise tai tai kind of life, seems not to be suitable for me.

So I thought, well, it’s good that this holiday has come to it’s end. I need to be back to earth, to remind myself again that money is not easy to find. It’s a blessing that one has to manage wisely & smartly. (yah Ie Joanne? Hehe). And this unforgettable holiday is only a gift from above. Not my hard earned rights!

In the end I just conclude, even all the money in the world will never satisfy our human’s greed. So with that, I fly back to Singapore. My gruelling earth.

I think I got back to earth TOO SOON :P Gravity has pulled me down too fast and burried me with tons of work !! huaih, I want to fly back to Paradise :P * sempet kepikir waktu di Narita, boarding gate nya SQ11/12 deketin neh, and gua ga inget mana yg pulang SG. Kl gua salah2 pesawat bisa jadi I wont be back to SG, instead fly back to LA. WAH !! GOOD IDEA :P *

Yah sutra lah! I can only look back to all the pictures, remember the good time, keep this super sweet memories inside my heart, and keep the passion for coming back to States ( whether holiday / to live there, whatever it is) burning !!


So here’s how I spent my last week in LA.
Ga jadi ketemu Bella hari Senin coz dia ada kelas, I end up going to the nearest mall and beli titipan bath & body works plus vic’s secretnya orang orang. Malemnya coz udah pada tutup tokonya, we end up eating at applebees. Nice Steak & reasonable price too.

Selasanya: jalan2 sama Ie Joanne ke Pasadena where we visit this shoes outlet called : DSW !! Wah: this is a very fruitfull trip bok. I got VERY VERY GOOD DEALS for shoes there. Gileeeeaaauuu deh. Stuart Weissman (bener salah nulisnya aja gua ga tau), Liz Clairbone, Coach, Guess, Jimmy Choo, Nine West, berseliweran dengan harga yg udah kena slash berapa puluh percent jg ga jelas gua.

Malemnya kita jalan2 sama Ci Lily ke: De Grove. Mall baru !! Bagus loh J Then makan di Farmer’s market mereka, brazilian food yg bayarnya ditimbang !! Ie Yong Tsuey traktir….. yuhuu. hohoho ! Thank u Ie, enak loh.

Rabunya: tadinya mau ke Disneyland sama Bella. Nah Bella kena stomach cram di Selasa malem. Dia nawarin buat kesana sama Tory, dia nyusul. I thought, mending bareng2 aja lah perginya, so kita reschedule hari jumat barengan ! I was kind of afraid waktu nanya dia mau pergi atau ga, takut dia ga mau ke Disneyland. It’s not cheap. But when we finally go there on Friday, she told me: aku tuh udah kepengen banget tau ga she Ci, ke disneyland !! HUAH Puji Tuhan !!

So yah, anyway jadinya Rabunya kita pergi ke Rodeo drive. Sederet panjang toko2 mahal, tempat artis2 belanja. Nice stretch of road. Off course gua ga belanja disana lah hoh :P Tp foto2. Sayang ga ketemu artis :P

Then Kamis : OUTLET TIME !!! hoah :P gile gilee gilee!! Udah gua nanti2kan outlet ini dari zaman gua di Seattle & Chicago. Sampe udah gua search gimana caranya kesana, udah pinjem GPS, en udah pastiin si Gucci ada disana. Pergi bareng sama Jenna (yg temenin gua ke Universal) & seorang perempuan yg cablak abies (yg dia orang bilang sm kayak gua cablaknya… padahal udah jelas gua lebih pemalu ....aihhhhh), si mbak Vera yg udah accidentally ketemu gua & Ie Joanne waktu kita tour tour-an. More on this mbak cablak later :P So berangkatlah kita ber 4, Ie Joanne, Jenna, Vera & me. Siap perang !!! huah !! ga sempet breakfast kita, but seriously : none of us are hungry !! haha...

ga lama dari waktu kita mendarat, si mbak Vera udah tenggelam di Tommy Hilfigher & DKNY nya. Gua, Ie Joanne and Jenna form one gank jalan bareng. First stop : BCBG !! ....Lanjut2, hari pun habis, tangan penuh belanjaan, dompet pun terasa tipis, pertanda SOS butuh bala bantuan :) Jenna pun suddenly kangen ortu di Indo, dia kirimkan SOS internasional, perlu setruman dana neh. And.....dapetlah dia, donor dari PMI (Papa Mama di Indonesia), sementara gua ? HAHHAHAHA :p yg ada dpt tagihan credit card yg panjang.....so kuterima nasibku yg tidak berhasil menemukan Prince charming pendonor dana :P

I walked out from outlet with a vow not to buy anymore bags in 1 year ! (remind me kl gua lupa janji ini)

Jumat: ke Disneyland jg akhirnya. Sabtu belanja last minute, minggu pulang.
Sorry kl difast forward gini, karena pada dasarnya udah ga kuat lagi lanjutin cerita.

Why? Karena cerita panjang lebar di atas diketik di hari Kamis sore tertanggal 26 Nov, dan sekarang udah December 1 subuh. Kenapa bisa lama gitu belon di post ? Blame it on Singapore that has its time speed like bullet train in Japan.

Ngantuk pula sekarang.....tidur ah !!

First day @ work: the big news came: My highest Boss, the Iron woman ~ leader of the pack, is resigning. Wow:P How life take it's turn !!

Still in jetlag mode on now. So I'm gonna sleep soon. Will write what I felt on my last moments @ LA when my eyes are wide open.

@ least for now, let me juz say : I'm happy to be back with u Singapore. I'm happy to be back to my home of 9 years :) & never regret any choice I made during this entire process of stepping foot to STATES :)

Soon I'll be back. The thots tat my holiday is over, is excruciating :P

Well, they say all good things must come to an end one day. So is mine going over soon. Back to SG means back to work immediately. Office is waiting 7 hours after I landed. 2 meetings waiting at the end of the week that I'm back :) hua hua hua hua.... and when I ask where has my youth been gone ? U noe the answer !! tadada dadada dadada :) (answer is : Gone for the glory of the Lord : HALELUYAH AMEN !!! )

Gitulah hidup kata Ieie gua. Terus berputar. Loe baik sama orang, orang lain lagi yg akan berbaik hati sama loe. Erm..ga nyambung yah ? heuheuh:P anyway : buat gua waktu itu yg terus berputar :P hahahah :)

Back to my last stay in States, I'm supposed to go to Disneyland with Bella today. But since dia stomach cram kemaren (aduh kasian banget) en that she has a project meeting today, we will be going on Friday instead. So my schedule for today : going Beverly Hill, Rodeo Drive & beli koper at the end of the day :P *hahahaha butuh banget yg ini*

Went to the mall near my Aunt's place on Monday, Pasadena & De grove yesterday (I got the BEST DEALS for shoes @ DSW ! Cant believe my eyes), en beverly hills today. Not going to Vegas this time around. Well, not a gambler in the first place, not fancying lights @ buildings, and might not be happy going Vegas alone, I decided to stay & just enjoy LA for a full week, while waiting for my cousins or any group of friends who want to go to Vegas together !!! ehhehehe :) gua tungguin yah guys !! My Ieie says : Vegas itu lbh enak kl perginya rame rame * en gua percaya hal itu benar *

Some tips for those going States next year : Come during Thanksgiving or Christmas for the best shopping deal. Off course u have to queue and maybe do some grabbing here & there, rub many ppl's shoulder altogether, fight a lil bit, give in a lil bit. They call it : the Black Friday (Friday after thanks giving). I dont know wad they call it during Christmas. It was a crazy sale that some things go for just 1 dollar!

But no, I dont want to fight Americans who are huge in general. I got couple of good news in states.

1> My dress size is considered : PETITE !! (gua...petite...HAHAHAHHA :p ngakak). Off course I took L size petite, but still's petite.

2> u've heard them. Sizes in States are ranging from a smaller number (perhaps just to make girls mind happy...psychological I suppose) Some girls fit size 0 in states. So this size 0 is around Dian, Jojo's size. I was wondering if they are size 0, wads my size ? en to my surprise ( I thot I was again minimal 8, 10 or 12) I'm size 4 !!! tada !!! hahaha :P *cukup senang to fit some size lesser than 5*. I'm pretty sure that Fenny is size -2 / -4

3> as for my jeans : I am size 6 !! nananananana nananananan :) (When I was over confident, I took 4. Off course cannot fit lah my fren)

4> When I ask them to guess my age, many believe that I am ....drum roll : 22 or even younger. When they know that I'm 28 and still serving in uth, they say that it's the benefit of staying in youth :P Percayaaaa :)

So my conclusin : life works in many wonderous way. It gets better as I aged, or should I say it gets better and better the more I know Him better. Gua cukup terharu sama cuplikan FB El that wrote : envy bombie :)

That's a real flatters El :) I never regard my life as sth that can cause ppl envys. But the journey I walked this year have changed quite many things. Yup, I enjoy this trip, this year, this journey, and the freedom that a single person can ever have, to do whatever one wants to do, achieve whatever one wants to achieve, reach the sky, paint them blue-pink-anything, without having any limitation other than one self doubt & fear. I have not loved my singleness any better than this year, any beter than I am now.

In fact one night after Nasi Boengkoes, when I remember those moments, I was laughing in bed *haha stengah gila* realizing how happy I am with the condition I'm in, single this age, and how wonderful that He made it to happen. It's a longgggggg and windingggggg and tearingggg & stormy journey I walked to reach & find this peak of happiness.

But to any of my friends who are happily married or in a relationship right now, pls don get it wrong. If only u noe how many litres of tears (1000 litres of tears kalah sama gua), sleepless nite, heartbroken pace I overcomed, believe me......u would not want to choose this path of mine.

Neither did I. In fact, this has been the toughest year that every single closest of girl friends of mine are married. U noe what I heard ? A sirene sounds like this:

"This is the final call for babies born in 1981 to board the plane called marriage. If you are in this flight, pls board the plane soon. Be sure to check in, get your boarding pass ready and we pray you enjoy your flight. "

I have no boarding pass. My visa was dis-approved. I have no choice than to wait for the next flight if there is, and if there isn't, stay in the island called singleness 4 eva. Imagine that : en u'll noe how many littre of tears I poured (together with my sweat I throw during dance practise this year --> all those contribute to the amount of waters I shed & my weight loss...hahaha)

Yet having no choice, and in a wonderful surrender heart, He has shifted my perspective and bring me a joy that I should have long discovered. Singleness --> is long translated : FREEDOM !!! I should have found this dictionary long time ago :P


So to El, thanks :) I really am flattered that I'm envied. But if there's anything that I can conclude in this trip, is that joy & happiness is best shared with ppl that you love. And to be able to find someone whom you love and loves you even more, is a pure gladness :) *ada yg bawain barang gitu loh... hahhaha. Joking*

To my friends who have find one: real congrats for you guys :) Have a safe sailing through the sea of life :)

To my friends who are in the wait : keep waiting with open heart. Who knows he/ she might just be next to you.


And to all who are enjoying whatever condition God has brought us into, just like me now, trust me :) We will never regret it. Coz He knows, much way better than us. He knows His way :) Just wait till the right time comes :)
